I think there was an argument a bit ago as to why Johnny's birthmark is never shown, and the answer is simple.

Him being a Joestar isn't important to the story, unlike part 8 and 9, people knew Johnny to a degree, so him being a Joestar was irrelevant to the plot, that's why we didn't see it.

Personally I think it'll be 90-95 chapters at the most, I don't think it'll be as long as jojolion, and Araki stated previously he does wanna retire, so I don't expect it to go on for a decade, but it'll go on for a while, here's hoping Araki stays healthy
