I've seriously considered moving to Manchester because of the Port Street Beer House (and admittedly the @trackbrewingco.bsky.social taproom).....it's not often a place leaves me speechless (as @kientan74.bsky.social can attest).

I *nearly* managed a Boddingtons at the Sutton Arms last night - can you imagine my disappointment when the cask ran out and the pump clip turned around? At least I managed a taster......

Naturally went for the Iron Pier instead which was also lovely (FAO @ironpier-james.bsky.social 🍻)

I'm not sure you could go wrong with either (although do like Kernel saison).

I'd go either before the stout though as once you've gone there you're committed 🍻

Had to catch a bus south-ish last night and, well, there was much temptation to stop for a swift one at the Blue Maid but a) I'd be late and b) with the state of buses last night I may have struggled to get another so would be even later......

Excellent pub though.

Was at a macro pub last night for some birthday drinks and the options were, well, limited. Ended up with Neck Oil and it's pretty awful stuff now.....and to add insult to injury it was well over £7 🤬

Found Steady at the main bar so was even poorer but happier with the beer.
