In their eighth matchup of 2025, Marileidy Paulino gets the better of rival Salwa Eid Naser in the ATHLOS NYC 400m, running down Naser on the homestretch to clock a 50.07 to Naser’s 50.94.

Paulino improves to 6-2 head-to-head against Naser this year and 14-2 in their careers.

Can’t shake the GOAT 😆

Even a kamikaze first 400m split of 60.5 by Gudaf Tsegay couldn’t rattle Faith Kipyegon, who cruises to her second ATHLOS NYC title with a 4:17.78 mile victory.

Tsegay hangs on for second in 4:19.75, miles ahead of the chase pack where Nikki Hiltz kicks to third in 4:32.51.

Long jump queen Tara Davis-Woodhall continues her epic streak of victories stretching back to 2023, triumphing in even the unconventional format of ATHLOS NYC’s two-day, seven-round competition with a 7.13m leap on her final attempt to take the crown.
