My kid has gotten hooked on a cartoon show called The Loud House and it is so, so, so bad. Ugly art, trite voice work, just terrible.

Apparently HBO is looking to make a police version of The Pitt and I feel like the problem is that what ER doctors do is fascinating while what cops actually do is sit in their squad cars ragging on each other. I guess sometimes they also make homeless people move to another block.

I used to think that once the Baby Boomers all died off the world would be a saner, slightly more reasonable place but instead what happened is that the internet came along and made everybody dumber and more awful.

I feel like a lot of MAGA-types look rather kindly on the idea, because "We've got all the guns!" but 1, that's not true and 2, if a civil war does happen the Second Amendment would *have to be* one of the first victims.
