I think you can go after Oni or Kitsuni in whatever order you want but then after that, I think it gets more linear? I did Oni first as well and for how the story went, I personally think it's the better option too. I'm closing in on Kitsuni right now. Having an absolute blast with this game haha
Just got the first ending for Silksong. God times. Gotta complete a bunch of stuff before I can start the optional 3rd act so I'm just slowly knocking all that out.
Only two kills into my revenge plot on the Yotei Six but I put a good 30ish hours in already? Ghost of Yotei is awesome.
Come say hi and let us know how your week went! #blutoid
Also, last weekend, went to Universal Studios for the first time for Halloween Horror Nights. It was mostly fun but the haunted houses were a bit of a let down.
Interesting lol I played ER on my Series X and didn't notice any issues with performance mode. Also, I hate motion blur, so I also turn it off for everything when given the option. I'll have to turn it on for certain games and see if I notice an improvement when switching back to quality mode.
It's mostly noticeable for me with how much smoother the camera pans around. No weird delay or blur. Also in high action games like Ghost of Yotei, it's very noticeable how it looks with 30 vs 60.
I used to never care because I was playing on Xbox mostly and 30fps was the norm so I was just used to it. Once we got into this gen and I was able to see what 60 looked like, it's hard to go back for me. The camera smoothly flowing, and animations just looking better definitely makes me prefer 60.
Maybe I'm weird, but I can almost never tell the difference in visuals between performance and quality mode in games. So I always just choose performance for a better gameplay experience. Only game I've been able to notice a big difference was FF7 Rebirth. Am I alone in this? Lol #blutoid
If they cut those sections down and made them less of a chore, this could have been an easy 10/10 for me. Still a great horror game and I'm happy I experienced it and still would highly recommend for horror fans. Just prepare to be annoyed with the combat in certain parts.
Combat was decent. Not awful, not good. However, just bad and frustrating when forced to deal with multiple enemies at once as the game simply isn't designed for it. Unfortunately, this is forced on you multiple times throughout and the last hour of the game was incredibly annoying to get through.
There were multiple times where I thought, damn that is so creepy but sooo fucking cool! Less scary then SH2 but that's perfectly fine. The scary sections were done really well and I couldn't help but smile every time they happened because I loved how they presented them.
Beat Silent Hill F so I'm leaving my thoughts here and in the comments. Overall, I really enjoyed it! A solid 8/10 for me. I really liked what they did with the story and the subtle way it ties to the rest of the series. The art direction and enemy design are beautiful in a horrifying way. #blutoid
Thanks for the heads up. Next time I play, I'm definitely gonna have to do that cause holy shit...An AI companion in a skate game? What the hell were they thinking? Very annoying.
"Use your skater eyes to find a good spot". "Use your skater eyes to find where to climb". "Just use your skater eyes!". The amount of times they say this stupid shit makes me want to play in traffic lol
I tried Session on PS5 awhile back and it felt super janky unfortunately. I really wanted to love it because at the time, I really wanted to play a new skating game. Just ended up reinstalling Skate 3 lol
Fair. If you're able to look past the bs, it's still a really good time. I'm enjoying just setting a respawn point and landing the tricks I want in fun spots. I'm really hoping they take feedback from this early access seriously and change a few things up cause the skating itself feels great.
MT were expected and expensive but you can just easily ignore them. The way you unlock gear with in game currency by random loot box drops? Awful. We should be able to to go into the skate shop and choose what to unlock. Instead, I'm stuck with an ugly orange shirt. Better luck next time I guess.
Skate is fun. Fun spots, decently fun challenges. Overall, a good time. Feels weirdly full of corporate cringe though. Not once in my 15 years of skating have I ever heard someone utter the annoying phrase "skater eyes". Especially so frequently. #blutoid
Silksong. Mostly loving it but has plenty to be annoyed with.
Silent Hill F. 3 hours in and I'm really enjoying it. Combat is definitely not great, but it isn't completely awful either. Loving the spooky atmosphere.
It's a good problem to have, but the amount of games I'm legitimately excited to play that have recently released or are dropping soon is a bit overwhelming. Plus my backlog. Just beat Unicorn Overlord and am working on Silksong. About to start Silent Hill F and I pre-ordered Ghost. #blutoid
