OTD nothing special from camera traps but in '04 I made a long distance house-call from Rwanda to Tanzania to check an injured alpha chimp for #JaneGoodall, RIP. The chimp wasn't treated & recovered on his own after weeks only to be killed by his group the moment he returned.

We miss you Jane.💔

This #IndigenousPeoplesDay25 is a nice opportunity to also acknowledge the important relationships between native wildlife like snapping turtles & our local #Hassanamisco Nipmuc, who are sometimes known as The People of Fresh Water. We've been privileged to host their annual fair on this weekend.
