All voters hear though is “Deputy Leader demands Starmer ….” and see it as a divided party
I think she’s hoping that if she makes a significant nuisance of herself, Starmer might give her a ministerial job to shut her up
The LibDems aren’t the problem . It’s the Greens (who currently account for around a third of the left of centre vote) who despise Starmer & Labour . Polanski said this week that he wouldn’t contemplate a deal with Labour . He also wants to leave NATO which is rightly a red line for Labour & LibDems
Alan Carr attains National Treasure status at 49 #celebritytraitors
Regardless of that, Barnett’s condescending attitude & utter rudeness towards this Minister is extraordinary and unacceptable . As usual, it’s all about her . #R4today
Like most of this damn country, the prison & justice system is completely broken .

Much of the responsibility lies with the Tories, but after 18 months in power, Labour has failed to show that they are even starting to “get a grip” .

Unfortunately, this makes a Reform govt more likely #r4today
Can’t be long before Honest Bob and his mates in Reform demand that David Lammy is deported #R4today
Honest Bob is such a drama queen bless him #R4today
Tragically, it feels as though this government is tired and utterly exhausted after less than 2 years in office . It seems as though it has given up and is just coasting towards handing over to Farage & Company in 2029.
Sadly, unless something dramatic happens over the next couple of years, I remain convinced that we are looking at a Reform government or at best, a Reform/Tory coalition.

The right seems to be moving closer together, whilst the centre & left of centre seem determined to fight amongst themselves
I’m fairly ambivalent about Burnham, but the fact that people on the hard left like Maskell are trying to make him PM is very disconcerting
Regardless of the rights or wrongs of moving public sector workers off their defined benefit pensions, it’s a policy proposal that is clearly designed to broaden Reform’s “appeal” from just flags & attacking immigrants .

Very friendly & “helpful” interview from Justin there #R4today
‘GB News Emma’ excelled herself this morning in her interview of Bridget Philipson ….condescending, snippy and unnecessarily agressive .
It’s all about Emma #R4today
The UK must remain part of NATO for our defence and security .

Thankfully Labour, the LibDems, Tories and even Reform agree .

Hypnotits is on his own and he’s never going to be PM
He’s also saying we should leave NATO .

NATO is vital to our defence
Don’t be ridiculous and ignorant . I’m not “relying on Trump”, I despise the man, but I live in the real world (not your fantasy one) where, for now, Trump is the US President and the USA is a vital member of NATO .

If you can’t debate sensibly and intelligently I’ll bid you goodnight . Muted
Polanski is on record as saying that “the UK must leave NATO” .

Just as Farage is on record as saying he wants to scrap the NHS.

Those two facts might now be embarrassing to both Farage, Polenski and their gullible supporters, but that’s your problem not mine
Whether you like it or not, the USA is a major and vital member of NATO, as are our European neighbours .

Polanski would leave us unprotected from our enemies like Russia . He’s a dangerous populist, just like Farage . The tragedy is that he’s going to help Farage become PM
I have no choice over who leads the USA . I do have a say in who leads the UK and as I said, I regard Polanski as a danger to our security and could not vote for the Greens .

You must vote as you see fit . Have a great day
Whatever one’s politics, today’s #Politicslive was one of the most thoughtful, intelligent and measured panels for a long time .
It will be interesting to see which parties go into the next general election with a promise to maintain the triple lock . Almost a certainty that Reform and the Tories will do so .
I agree, I’ve voted Labour or LibDem since I started voting in the 1970’s . There is no way I could vote Green, particularly now that it’s run by Polanski . If nothing else, his stance on NATO is a complete red line for me .
