Just finished a new illustration / portfolio piece for a story in progress - and submitted this along with 2 other pieces for the Illustrator's Showcase coming up in August for the SCBWI Summer Virtual Conference.

So looking forward to this years SCBWI Summer Virtual Conference 2025 - time to get back in the saddle!

Putting the finishing touches on a new illustration / character design. Feeling that my brother Brad who just passed away 2 weeks ago, is nearby and channeling his expertise in color. He was an amazing artist & painter, and totally understood what it means to be in the "zone."
