I think this is a smart move by Intel Corporation. Selling of the NAND storage division was a mistake, which is highlighted by the now shortage of NAND and increase in prices. (1/3)

The Royal Mail "assistant" is total garbage.

I'm trying to track a parcel that should have been delivered days ago. The "AI assistant" simply regurgitates links to their website. It's basically internal website search for idiots. Is this what AI is expected to deliver? (no pun intended)

We seem to be dividing into those who see no bubble (the tech companies, the AI companies, the investors) and those who are increasingly worried about a bubble (the financiers).

Last week we visited the refurbished Battersea Power Station. It’s mainly a shopping centre now but has quite a buzz and some OK restaurants (and a lot of flats).

Although it could be some time away, this potential Intel Corporation deal with Apple could be pivotal in making the Foundry business a success. Obviously the market thinks so, as the announcement last week produced a surge in the Intel share price. (1/3)

One of the biggest misunderstandings in the current market is the difference of “worth” versus value. I see lots of articles proclaiming OpenAI for example is “worth” $500 billion.

Yes, the UK did too little, too late (by which we mean Boris Johnson's Conservative government).

But what does it matter? Will there be any consequences? Did anyone get punished for errors that could have been avoided?

The irony of a company owned by a storage company for many years! I wonder how much additional cost was expended in licences (and hardware) because VMware didn't get the storage specification correct? Funny how they became owned by a hardware company...
