That’s not to say that price is the only factor, otherwise free to play would be unbeatable. But I think it’s ok to care about the little details of something that you’re spending a lot to buy?

I think it’s reasonable because the cost of any triple A video game is really high. If we’re gonna focus just on pure fun, it’s reasonable to say that there may be indie games with similar fun but at half the price.

My #cubecon2025 first draft was Reimagined Alpha. Went 2-1 with mono black. Hypnotic Specter still a house. Was bad against my land tax opponent tho.

How’s the Pokemon gameplay? A lot of reviews I’m seeing compare it to other Pokemon games, but I’m more interested in how it holds up to the wider genre.

As a D20 fan I’m taking my first shot at watching the new Critical Role season. The biggest hurdle for me is getting my mind into the space of “these are actors first, not comedians”. It changes the way I need to engage my brain the same way watching a comedy vs drama film would.
