Got my physical copy of the *Internet Phone Book* in the mail today, in which I have an entry. Proudly indie since 1996!

Now that Canada Post has moved to rotating strikes I finally got my box of film developing chemistry. With the Sodium Sulfite and Metol I can make D-23, and I can add the Potassium Bromide to my Caffenol recipe.

For Halifax there’s “Hello City” by Barenaked Ladies, and “Uniform Grey” by Sarah Harmer but I’m not sure either are anything to celebrate with 😆
Noticed some new zebra stripes on my walk to work. Much better.

Got up on the roof this morning for the first time in years. I really should go up there more often, especially on beautiful sunny days.

I just want everyone who didn't ask to know my thoughts on this, and those are: WILLY'S FOREVER.
The concrete bike lane dividers on the other side of the intersection.
I love how hyperlocal utility poles are when it comes to advertising various goods, services, and events. Before the tech bros got their hands on the community marketplaces.

I've always kind of thought we should look into who owns those tall, rusting billboard posts and ask if we can put up a giant "cars ruin cities" billboard on them. As something for the car/truck brains to consider while they're sitting there idling in their traffic causing havoc.

Even though the window coverings are up in the Green Lantern for Craig's, I *did* see the temporary artwork/paintings being removed from Sieverts so your hunch/intel that something's going there may be correct 🤷
No more vagueness with this.

Meant to send this for your files earlier, what kind of Barrington St spy am I?
"DO NOT CLIMB" 😆

“Just leave the roads as they are!” says angry motorists driving on roads that weren’t left as they were when they were pleasant places to be on, enjoyed by people on foot, bicycle and horse, before the car was even dreamt of.
Haha "George Island".

Robert Moses would be proud. Maybe we could get that proposed south harbour crossing to be a double-decker. Now that's how you solve traffic problems!
Aww thanks! There’s always something going on in the ol’ harbour.
Ah that’s great to hear. I live just a block down the street, happy to recommend my neighborhood!
Haha yes it was. They're on a schedule, and stopping for meatbags on the side of their urban highway doesn't fit into it.
Completely agree, enforcement is almost criminally lacking. I've driven friends and co-workers mad with my plan if I become king of Halifax: pay parking enforcement $75 an hour, double that overnight, and parking tickets are $200 every 2 hours. Problem solved. That shit ain't free.
