After the last long day of travel, it was Blini who was aggressive (very unlike her!!) for over a week. This time it's back to Mimo but she's generally been better about travel and even now, she's doing ok.
I did notice a suspicious scab by Mimo's ear but that could have been from this past week.

After the last long day of travel, it was Blini who was aggressive (very unlike her!!) for over a week. This time it's back to Mimo but she's generally been better about travel and even now, she's doing ok.

Arrived last night without incident. The driver of the little bus loves cats so he even stopped the bus to see the girls and chat with them. Blini became a bit more vocal as I walked through the village, alerting the dogs that she was there.
A little bit of hissing but overall they're fine today.

A few small meows but the girls are hanging in there. Still hoping for the best once the cat carriers are opened at home.

Looks like the TGV is late again so I'll either have a 3 minute connection for a train to Menton (unlikely) or I'll catch the next train and hop on the local bus in Monaco. It's going to be a long day for the girls.

Two-thirds of the people left at Marseille, including the cougher. A bit more space now. The girls are still sleeping with only a few random meows from time to time.

Fell asleep and came out of the tunnel and into the sun. Even better, saw the blue sea as the train approached Marseille.

While waiting for the Metro earlier, Mimo was howling away and an upstairs neighbor heard it so came over to say hello. Thankfully she's a cat person and knows the girls very well.
Cat people all seemed to have a laugh, others looked around trying to figure out who was making all of the noise.

Nothing can justify the bloated phone costs. I've been dragging out my mobile phone for years and it's more than fine.
If a phone still works fine, it’s not “device hoarding” to keep using it. It’s common sense.

The cat truce was wobbling last night (hissing, a few paw swipes) but seems ok again this morning. They're sleeping close to each other though not touching.
Tomorrow is a big travel day so someone will be upset again by the end of the day.
