One headcanon my Lancer group has is that Evangelion, even in the far, distant future, is still widely remembered and recognized for its cultural impact and weirdly accurate predictions of mech technology, especially with the mass produced EVAs being only a fraction as weird as anything HORUS makes

Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.
I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

There needs to be a word—if it doesn't already exist—to describe when during a genuine mental health crisis, I often have this tendency to refuse help and solutions I know will work because the hurt feels somehow validating in a weird way. Some kind of sick, unhealthy catharsis? I dunno.
