What an incredible era for videos games. Constant innovation, constant new AAA series made by major companies. I can't quite put into words how special I feel that era was.

The guy who played Balthier did such an awesome job. Also Fran had such a cool, unique voice and if you see interviews with her you can tell she made up a voice for Fran (she sounds very different IRL).

Yeah 100%, lots of the VA from that era/style isn't great. And agreed on FFX, it has flaws but truthfully it has some less bad VA compared to a lot of stuff from that era (even though people love to show the awkward Tidus laughing clip). I thought Lulu's voice actress for example was pretty good tbh

Oh there's definitely FCFS in the scenario you are talking about (you are 100% correct in the scenario you are describing), but there are also lotteries too, and I've never won any of those lotteries. There are also some cons that do a combo of FCFS and lottery (really).

Getting into furry cons is impossible nowadays. My bf and I have 8 room lottery entries (IIRC) and we haven't won it a single time. I have never ever won a room lottery. Something really should be done.
