Currently in Baltimore for the holiday week… got back to our hotel to a power outage. Ah well. No stress needed. We have brick batteries to charge phones, and a USB fan for a noise machine and air. Never a dull moment. 🤣 Cheers to positivity in chaos. #Holidays

I just can’t fathom how local governments and law officials can support the behavior I’m seeing here this week… it breaks my heart. Car chases, breaking windows and pulling folks from their vehicles… it’s despicable and terrifying. #Charlotte

The longest previous shutdown was under Trump back in 2018/19 and was 35 days. We are on day 20 with the current administration, and they’re set to vote again today. If you think they care about the furloughed employees, or those currently without paychecks trying to make ends meet, think again.

Those voting on this shutdown aren’t thinking about the people of this country, or those affected. The workers and families that’ll go without pay. The last time this happened under Trump, it was over 30 days. Many aren’t fortunate enough to have nest eggs with this current economy. Just Terrible.

There are people out there, who work for a government we’re supposed to trust, that don’t know if they’ll have a source of income tomorrow. This shouldn’t happen.
