Am I weird for preferring romance stories with homophobia and transphobia in them? I do like some queernormative stories, I absolutely adore the Roots of Chaos, but it feels easier to relate to characters who share those aspects of their environment with me.

I'm at my lowest point when it comes to being able to do my school work that I've ever been at. Not sure how I'll be able to manage a real job come spring unless I can get some real rest this Christmas break. I sleep 12 hours a day and am still fatigued out of my mind

I got my new iPad just to realise that my apple pencil 2 isn't compatible with it😔💕
But at least I have an ipad again which will make me able to do my work

This Xmas I have asked for books from my friends.
Books they have read & loved and need to live with me for a few months.?
As I read each one I will bake a cake - we will talk about the book and it will go home to its original keeper.

I'm working on my insecurities and hesitations around polyamory and while the best way is probably to just get laid /hj (or trying CNM in other ways, a recommendation in the book), for me reading is probably the second best option.
I think the book did help a bit but more books (and 💋💋) are needed

This one actually is about CNM. I still haven't read polysecure so I took Fern's books in the wrong order. I think this book will help me work on some of my hesitations around CNM and it did give me some tools to use in my relationship(s)
