IAMCAS has invited bids to launch the 5,000 kg Qingzhou-1 cargo spacecraft to the China Space Station. Qingzhou-1 was previously planned to launch aboard CAS-SPACE's Kinetica-2. This suggests though the contract is now up for grabs! Opening the door for competitors like Zhuque-3 or Tianlong-3.

The rumored cause for the Zhuque-3 stand-down—improper paint on the landing pad!? Sounds too absurd to be true. Occurring right on the heels of the Office of Commercial Space's establishment, this delay feels less like a technical hurdle and more like a bureaucratic rough start for the new era.
