We had a brilliant session with @dataschools.bsky.social and @scottishaialliance.bsky.social a few weeks ago where we shared our Children's Rights & AI Teaching Pack with a wonderful audience from the education sector. There is clear demand for quality resources to support AI literacy in schools.
A thank you to everyone who took part, shared their voices, and celebrated through words and artwork from across Scotland. Your ideas and actions remind us that every child has the right to be informed, heard, and involved in shaping a sustainable future.

🌟 Thank You for following us through Climate Week 🌟

Our Climate Week has come to a close Children’s Parliament members, leaders, and decision-makers met to discuss the children’s calls for action showing that tackling the climate crisis is a children’s rights issue.
“Make sure children and young people have information about the climate emergency in Scotland… so they know what’s going on, how to get involved, or how to get help if they are worried.”

“We should be learning the difference between what we want and what we need—and we should have a say in how this happens.”

Today, children still call for a real voice in designing, building & caring for their school spaces.

Better Government Communication

in The Moment (2021), 2,000+ children told leaders:

“People should be shown what actions they can take to help the climate with adverts on TV & social media about reducing waste, buying less, choosing local, and saving energy.”
Key message:
“We should have a say on how we learn about climate, given it will affect the beach and forest around us.”

They continue to call for a voice in designing, building & caring for school spaces.
