As 1 of 3 Eileen’s in my high school freshman class of 900 students, that was a tough year for me & my fellow Eileens when that song came out! At our 10 & 20 year reunions the 3 of us were lured to the center of the dance floor while our former classmates surrounded us & sang their hearts out.

Yup, I passed thru Wrigleyville today. Absolute war zone with all of my fellow disappointed Cubs fans. As for the rest of Lakeview it was full of families, runners, bikers and folks eating & drinking at every outdoor cafe in site. Terrifying!

Hanging with my sister on her balcony, enjoying 80 degree temps & listening to our favs. We both put our kitties down yesterday an hour apart & we needed to cry & laugh together. 1st Caturday without our sweet girls but they brought their hooman mommas together to help us heal.
