We have officially taken control of #Sentinel6B! 🕹️
Now on the way to its nominal orbit, it will soon fly in tandem with Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich to ensure precise cross-calibration before becoming the world’s new reference mission for ocean altimetry. 🌊

Colorado satellite manufacturer York Space Systems filed paperwork to go public yesterday in what’s likely to be the last space IPO of the year. The S-1 filing showed the company posted revenues of $280.9M for the first 9 months of 2025, but suffered losses of $56M over the same time period.

I've done a revised version of my O-type star poster which uses Bailer-Jones distances where available. This eliminated 7 stars that are now further than 1250 pc but added 11 more.
