This glitch has been around for a while, I'll share the response I previously posted in the Discord community:

Q: I've reached a very far distance (40km+) and the game no longer generates levels. Why is that?

You've reached the community-named "void"! It is quite an accomplishment.

The game engine has a math bug that appears at very high distances that prevents further generation. It is a very huge bug to fix because it affects many things.

I didn't design the game to be played so far and also don't wish anyone's game to last that long.

One day I plan to address this by making the game end far earlier than 40km.

MORE TO COME

Updates have been slow! I’m the only person working on the game full time. Life happens.

There are more things I want to add to
Chiki’s Chase. Many ideas date back to
before it first released in 2022.

New upgrades, characters, areas,
game modes, other systems to play on...
it’s part of my dream for the game!

UPDATE 2.4

This update is focused on maintenance & bugs.
No new major game content this time.
Oh yeah, Chiki’s Chase is over 3 years old now!

SOME CHANGES

- No more video ads
- Loading bar instead of Unity splash screen
- Fixed pixel resolution
- Birthday Cake hat has 3 candles
- Android cloud save sync fix
- Late-game enemies are a little tougher
