But I miss when cable tv had shows and channels with kid and adult content. Nowadays it feels like something like Steve Irwin or other shows on animal planet would never be on a “kids” profile on Disney or HBO or something bc nature shows and docs are for “adults”

I remember as a kid loving finding out about animal planet and Steve Irwin from cable. I don’t think kids get that nowadays with curated series on streaming run by an algorithm but at least there’s still nature docs on National Geographic.
