the yankees recently bought the single A team up the road from me. they immediately named the stadium (a county park) after a bank, and cut down 2 acres of trees past the outfield to build luxury suites. it’s so fucked up

this makes a lot of sense bc imo as a player the skill that distinguished him from everybody else was unlimited energy as much as his handle and speed. he was closing down tgi friday’s every night 4 or 5 hours after leaving the arena

When it’s my turn I point at myself and say “MY turn!” as I’m stepping on the gas (I am very gracious and polite when coming to a stop). Doesn’t make the other drivers better but it feels good
