My dad likely had Long COVID and asked his doctor about it who said they had "no way of diagnosing it." He had a stroke a few months later.

Nobody thinks long term at all. I saw a comment just yesterday from someone saying they'll take a day of being sick over having to mask. As if most people are only sick for just a day even in the acute phase. The denial is wild

Definitely noticing this type of rhetoric in other countries, too, and it's always countries where most people act like racism is exclusive to the US. White Westerners need to wake the fuck up and realize they're a lot more like us than they want to believe.

And it's hoardes of Canadians doing it. I hope people have stopped seeing Canada as some beacon of kindness. Obviously, that was never true since they are a colonial entity, but the anti-South Asian racism in Canada has gotten so loud. They're clutching their pearls just seeing brown people.
