One of the reasons I enjoy following @erinsorensen.bsky.social is because she’s fun loving. A little more laughter — and these wonderful #Huskers FB and #HuskerVB seasons — is healthy balance.

An old NFL coach (and Husker fan) told me there’s basically three keys to winning football:

1) run the ball
2) stop the run
3) win special teams

Nebraska did really well on 2) and 3) — enough to win.

But for the #Huskers to be a national power, that offensive line has to improve.

Goodness. Nothing has changed through four coaching changes for #Huskers FB in this regard:

#Nebraska will be back when the Pipeline is back.

Game still won and lost in the trenches.

However, special teams and turnovers have Huskers still on top.

I would LOVE to learn more about how these rotations fit into strategy and game plan. If only we could have #HuskerVB film studies and breakdowns for educating us less informed #Husker fans.
