We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community... Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.

So thankful to celebrate the Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) graduates today. Grateful for an organization that invests in adults, believes in second chances, and helps people build better futures for themselves while strengthening our community one person at a time.

Happy Holidays from OKC Rotary! I volunteered and rang the bell for Salvation Army donations last week, and it was pure holiday joy. Folks showed up with warm hearts, and Santa and Mrs. Claus even surprised me with a candy cane after my shift. Looks like I’m still on the good list! 🎄✨

I attended the 3rd Annual Alpha Community Foundation of Oklahoma Charity Gala, and it reminded me what real community work looks like. Hill Harper spoke on the power of possibility, and it hit home. Change happens when all of us invest in our communities. Grateful to witness it. 💗💚💛🖤

Last night we gathered in support of Cyndi Munson, and it reminded me how much Oklahoma needs real leadership in healthcare. She listens, she understands the gaps our families face, and she’s ready to fight for care that’s accessible and affordable. I’m with Cyndi.

Last night’s Kids Governor fundraiser reminded me why I love serving future generations. These kiddos are sharp, thoughtful, and full of courage. If this is who is coming next, our future is bright. Grateful and inspired to keep lifting up young leaders.

Honoring Mother Viola Fletcher, whose life reshaped how we speak about truth, justice, and memory. She carried nearly a century of history with dignity and made sure the world heard what happened in Tulsa. Her courage moved us, and her legacy will guide us forward.

Rest in power, Mother Fletcher.

Time with former State Rep. Kevin Cox always hits different. His honesty and wisdom push me to lead with clarity and conviction. Iron sharpens iron, and I’m grateful for a mentor who keeps me rooted in my values. Blessed for his mentorship and his friendship.

Today in Tulsa I stood on sacred ground and faced the truth of the Tulsa Race Massacre. Hatred tried to erase Black excellence, but resilience lives on. I carry this history and strength forward. From the ashes, Greenwood will rise again.
