It’s not just the educational system. There’s an anti intellectual mentality in this country that needs to be addressed, too. That somehow their ignorance is as valid as your education. And they’re damn proud of it.

My cat, Buzz, was 22 pounds (not fat!) and when standing on his hind legs could easily lay his head on my hip and could almost reach my should with his paws. He was enormous and such a love bug! He was a Ragdoll.

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.

Immigration agents have the authority to detain whom they reasonably suspect are in the country illegally. We found more than 50 Americans who were held after agents questioned their citizenship. They were almost all Latino.

Agents also can arrest citizens who allegedly interfered with or assaulted officers. We compiled cases of about 130 Americans, including a dozen elected officials, accused of assaulting or impeding officers.

McConnell had polio as a child and has a history of heart problems. I can’t recall if it’s congenital or something age related, but - healthwise - he is 93. And I really hope the knowledge that he did not act in our best interests and released this hell into our lives drags him straight to the Pit.
