I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what was behind Trump’s change of heart regarding the files. I’m sure the Clinton investigation and claims that files in an ongoing investigation couldn’t be released. Now, I believe that he knew he was beat, and wanted to thwart congressional power.

It astounds me that an administration, and a party would fight so hard to keep food away from the poor! Cruelty IS the point. The poor are their constituents, our neighbors, us - Americans, human beings. They are not negotiation tools!

Had a wonderful turnout at the No Kings in Floresville, Tx! Unfortunately, we had less than in June. Dems are scared in red, rural small towns, but they came out, anyway. Congressional Republicans cannot ignore what is happening and stay in office at the same time.

I really had hope that the Republicans in Congress would have at least loved their power enough to not give it over to trump. Hope is that elusive commodity that we suspiciously grasp onto, knowing that we have no choice, because without it, we lose.
