Trump and the Republicans wouldn't suddenly be onboard with releasing the Epstein files without having come up with some (undoubtedly illegal) trick to remove Trump from them entirely.

There is absolutely a discussion to be had about how the way people of color are included in period shows/movies often whitewashes just how racist and segregated American/European society has always been, but I suspect that's not what most people on X are mad about...

The Dem leadership clearly thinks the Republicans voting against medical benefits in December will be 'bad optics' and they can use it in the midterms, problem is Donny and friends control the media so the vote will be back page news.

It's crazy that the people at the top sit in a place of safety and say "shoot that gun, fire that missile, drop that nuke!" and the people at the bottom just do as they're told and commit suicide.

Films in the 90s loved depicting prisons and mental institutions over time starting in the 30s and ending in 'present day', they always showed the 30s-60s as cruel, racist and intolerant then magically everything becomes kind, equitable and fair in the 70s-90s.
It's more than a little infuriating.

It feels impossible to discuss a subject with someone who feels very strongly about it, there's basically nothing you can say to avoid an argument that isn't 100% in agreement with them.
