Sad news from the Runcorn by-election. Labour may have lost the seat by only 6 votes, but the danger is that it will make the wrong conclusions. It needs to end the ridiculous refusal to raise income tax and start to increase the tax on those earning over £100,000 per annum.
Africa is a huge and diverse continent and each country is quite distinct. Even countries such as Uganda and Tanzania who have much in common are also very different,Tanzania has free education and Uganda doesn’t. Lumping all the countries together as one, is too simplistic.
