Literal chills reading this piece.
“Oh, the brain, that adamantly logical and analytical mess of neurons, can try to block it out with happiness or paper it over with time. But the body remembers how it feels to be poor.”
"The body remembers the side of the road, night the color of swamp water, quiet thick enough to drown in except for the rhythmic tick-tock of the emergency flashers marking time all-alone all-alone."

SO good. 🙌 Idk this poet but wow. 1st pubbed poem in Rust & Moth is brilliant. Congrats @edithkrone.bsky.social
Today is scary. My first poem has officially been published to Rust & Moth! It’s been such a weird and long road to get here but I’m a published writer (of sorts) now. I don’t know what to do now but be hopeful that you enjoy it. Thanks. Bless.

Also, today, EBSCO reached out to open an account to get ELJ’s titles into libraries, & our titles are available via Ingram beginning w/our 3/2025 titles. Thanks to everyone that stood by us as we moved forward. The future is now, & we will be announcing our first 2026 title next week.
