Queer. Mentally ill. Too old & tired to put up with bullshit.

Today's not-so-family-friendly movie is Edward Scissorhands!

Absolute classic, still love it.
I started the first one years ago, but didn't get far. And I misplaced it during a move (I think I gave it away with my 360).
If you want a real good dog movie, about a real dog, watch Togo.
That dog was metal as hell, and they actually had to leave stuff out as they didn't think it was believable 😄.
Ooooh nooooo.

Today's movie was White Fang, which I have never seen.

Not too scary, though I can see how it may have been upsetting at times to kids.

But now I'm at the end.

I was so ready to be mad as hell at Jack for betraying his friend like that!
Stupid dog movies always make me teary 🥹
Mass Effect legendary edition is only $10 on the Xbox store ...

I don't really need more games ...

But it's only $10
.

.
Let's see how long it takes before I get around to playing it 😄
Oooooh I have it on dvd! I hope you like it!
I haven't watched this in forever, and yeah it's still an absolute banger of a film.
It's turtle time!

Watching the OG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I freaking loved this movie as a kid! Raphael is still my fave ♥️🥷🐢
😄😄😄
I have vague memories of watching the TV show as a kid 😄
I used to have it on DVD, it was probably in the boxes of stuff I gave to my dad a few years back.
I've only just started re-buying stuff on physical media, because of all the crap streaming is pulling.
Today's movie was supposed to be The Mask.
But it is no longer available to stream, it's rent only. I refuse to pay a streaming service a second time to watch something once.

So we're moving straight on to The Addams Family!
Absolute bloody classic. Raul Julia killed it as Gomez ♥️♥️♥️
Man, I'd forgotten how many of Robin Williams's lines my friends and I used to quote to each other.

I miss him .
Oh I love Pump Up The Volume!

I think I've seen Broken Arrow.
Movie 4 is Ferngully The Last Rainforest.

I haven't watched this in probably 20 years. I'd forgotten that Christian Slater played the jealous boy fairy, and that the movie starts with faux Aboriginal art animating the prologue 😬
The wildebeest stampede still makes my hair stand on end.
Movie number 3 is the OG Lion King!

Haven't seen the "live action" and I doubt I ever will.

The animated one is perfect. Great songs, great villains, and the great message of don't trust nazis.
I have never seen Mean Girls. Or seen Finding Nemo all the way through 😄
October movie month #2 - Jurassic Park!

Despite the fact that I watched this in August, I'm always up for another rewatch.

Absolute fucking amazing movie, still holds up, far too terrifying for its PG rating 😄
I love the Conquerer Challenges.

I love my stupid medals.
I love my postcards.
I love that they plants trees when I reach milestones (I choose to believe they keep that promise).

And now I'm on to the next challenge - Anakin's Journey (Jedi). 😄
And it's begun!
Starting off October movie month with Jumanji!

I never found this one "scary", but I can see how younger kids may have been scared of it.

Loved the original picture book as a little kid though.
I have these sitting in my to-make pile of Lego.

Like my pile of to-read books, it just keeps getting bigger 😄
Family friendly 90s films that weren't that friendly 😄

Movies I couldn't access included:

Ernest Scared Stupid
Drop Dead Fred
Matilda
Iron Giant
My Girl
The Witches
Scooby-Doo Zombie Island
Super Mario Bros

All either not on streaming or locked behind extra subscriptions. (Fuck you Amazon Prime).
