Interesting to learn about Einstein as a whole. His struggles to get a job. His many personal failings. His kind moments. His flings. His changing perspectives on pacifism, religion, etc.

They did everything right. They worked hard for years to earn citizenship and were moments away from being proud, loyal Americans - when they were pulled out of line at their naturalization ceremony, because Republicans don't like where they're from.

Enjoyable. Pointless subtitle. Should have delved more into the relationship between slavery and the founding of the United States. In general, an interesting overview to a complex and interesting character.

#TIL that people should probably not eat more than one Brazil nut a day or risk serious health issues.

A few nuts could easily put an adult over the upper limit for selenium.

I'm surprised they don't come with warning labels.

#BookReview for "Bad Law: Ten Popular Laws That Are Ruining America" by Elie Mystal
Not bad
Very ranty, but the author works hard to be entertaining - including character voices. Definitely go for the audiobook over text!
Would like a bit more evidence and a bit less conjecture.

#BookReview for "Leonardo da Vinci" by Walter Isaacson
Not bad
Audiobook may not be ideal, given how much of the content refers to seeing examples of da Vinci's works. A little dull at time, but overall it's interesting to learn about da Vinci's genius and foibles - like how bad he was at finishing

#BookReview for "The Making of a Manager: What to Do When Everyone Looks to You" by Julie Zhuo
It's ok
I appreciate that the author tried to give practical advice. Odd that there was no mention of criticism or controversy of Meta, Zuckerberg, or Sandberg. Also disagree with most the hiring content.
