Ok this is the first time I'm doing a preorder and promotion for a new standalone. My general approach is to lay the baby on the doorstep and back away slowly, but the book drops Nov 6th I already have the final file uploaded and tonight I finished PB format and cover. Take that, ADHD!

My mom just got an obvious scam call from someone claiming to be 'Wells Fargo' wanting to verify banking information for a zelle transfer and like

1. She does not have a Wells Fargo account.
2. She never uses zelle.
3. It is 7pm on a Saturday night. Ain't nobody working at Wells Fargo right now.

Now she knew instantly this was a scam but it just makes me sad at the low effort the scammers are putting in at this point. Like this was obvious if you're going to be a villain, up your game, boys!

Just finished reading a recent Pulitzer prize winner that was so, so bad. Plot was contrivance after contrivance in a way genre writers would never get away with. The writing was beautiful, but everything else was ... not good. No, this was not Demon Copperhead (which I loved).

Ok so I didn't get a huge amount of writing done this week but I got the lion and the Sparrow proofread, formatted and uploaded For its release date. also wrote the Blurb for Valley of Storms and started that preorder. So, go me, I guess!
