The iPhone air feels more like apple asked if they could and not if they should, the thinner phone is impressive by it suffers to make that a reality. Its to expensive to justify the drawbacks and the thinness wasn't something anyone asked for so it doesn't justify the price.

If anyone is an android dev can anyone tell me why so many apps insist on still using memory in the background after they technically have nothing to do like deliver notifications, is there other functionalities they need that memory for. I would think apps would only use memory when they need it

I love the random white bar on the side of my screen sometimes on Twitter, Twitter is the only app on my phone with weird graphical bugs like this, its not major but considering this was the 6th best-selling phone globally in 2024 and that no other app on my phone does this its kind of stupid.

What happened to software with personality, like yes this place is more personality than most software but it's still continues the trend, also what happened to Hardware with personality or just anything for that matter like look at a modern car

I have been reminded that that where the Bluesky developers haven't filled a lot of gaps Twitter has the community has stepped in, not everywhere and not everything is seamless but seeing such an active development Community still gives me a lot of Hope for this project.

think by now most people I mean included have accepted that there are major sacrifices to privacy to using social media services for the sake of advertising, I for a while although not preferably accepted it had accepted it, recent trends however to me 1/2
