Our schools have shone bright today as learners and staff came together wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day. It's important that our children and young people know that they are not alone with their mental health.

Congratulations to our year 7 learners for their incredibly creative entries in our Trust-wide 'Maths in everyday life' competition!
Yesterday we were delighted to host our Governance Development Day, a fantastic opportunity to welcome new trustees, share our Trust strategy and goals, and strengthen connections across our leadership team and shared services.

We’re absolutely thrilled to celebrate Helen being selected as a finalist for the Brightest Beginnings Award at this year’s CIPP Annual Excellence Awards! Helen attended the awards ceremony in recognition of her outstanding work in payroll.

We’re proud of Amanda, one of our incredible colleagues, who goes above and beyond in more ways than one. Amanda is office manager at Mount Charles School but in her spare time, volunteers as a police officer, helping to keep our community safe.

Our primary pupils were treated to a visit from award-winning author Clare Helen Welsh this week 📚
Clare said “It's been such a pleasure visiting your schools this week! Such welcoming, kind and creative settings. I'm going away inspired and impressed - a roadshow success!”
Our CELT Centre of Excellence is now open! This is our dedicated space for staff to learn, develop and grow. We can't wait for our development events and outreach initiatives to begin now! #ExceptionalEducationalExperience
Literacy is a right, not a privilege.
It empowers learners and opens doors to opportunity #InternationalLiteracyDay
On #ReadABookDay we’re reminded of the power of reading for pleasure to open minds and spark lifelong curiosity. The St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature shows just how inspiring stories can be - a legacy that lasts well beyond the festival.

Less of a new chapter, more of a whole new book! Very excited to start my new Headship journey in the morning, at Brannel School part of the @celtacademies.bsky.social family! #BRANNELNATION
A huge well done to all the incredible students at Bodmin College and Newquay Tretherras collecting their results today!

Our students' dedication, resilience, and determination have truly paid off. We’re so proud of everything they've achieved and the journeys they’re about to begin.
A huge congrats to Willow from Tretherras for winning the junior girls' title at Boardmasters! We also want to say a special congratulations to former student, Lukas Skinner, for achieving 'double-double' victories in the Boardmasters Open QS 2000 and junior boys' competitions 💪 amazing achievements
Exposing pupils to different activities not only helps them discover new interests and talents, but also builds confidence and resilience. Golf teaches patience, focus, and respect - skills that benefit children both on and off the course. Well done to St Mewan CP School for broadening horizons ⛳
Kindness wins! Congratulations to two pupils at Pondhu Primary School, who were presented with the Carol Jennings Award to recognise children who are consistently kind, polite and respectful to all. They always think of others, treat everyone with respect, and making a positive difference every day.
Before the end of term, we were thrilled to bring together our dedicated inclusion team at Cornwall Education Learning Trust. This passionate group of educators and leaders is committed to fostering a culture where every learner feels seen, heard and supported.
As we come to the end of another school year, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to our incredible staff, dedicated families, and amazing children. Your hard work, support and resilience have made this year truly special.

Now it’s time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the summer break.
Special moments from our ECT and ITT graduation - celebrating not just the end of a training journey, but the beginning of a lifelong impact on the lives of learners across Cornwall #ExceptionalEducationalExperience
On Friday we had our final ITT professional studies session with our CELT/Marjon trainee teachers. It was a session of reflection, where we explored their journeys, planned their next steps and shared gratitude for the support and advice received along the way.
Next: graduation on 16 July!
