I still haven't played the 2nd, and I really should 😖I loved the 1st! The story telling was enough to keep me hooked without keeping me from getting out there and having fun doing gameplay loop things. The world's balance of beautiful, explorable, and threatening was just chef's kiss!

I really gotta play Wuchang soon. As much as I love rehashing my beloved games (in Nightreign and BG3) and probably want to do even more BG3 after I get Solo Honour done, my backlog is getting spooky in size again! 😂

I'm sorry to report that I am not Shrek-shaped... Though I do also have two arms and two legs, so we share some traits.

Sadly I also do not have stars for pupils, white-purple hair, or a robe woven from the vastness of space. But I do have dangly earrings!

As much as I enjoy making, rigging, and using my vtuber models, I am excited to start streaming with my real face.

I've never really felt like I belonged in the "vtuber scene," & the vast majority of the friends I've made through Twitch use face cams.

I don't even think there's anything wrong with ENM (though, sure, the term CAN be fraught); I have several poly friends, and think it's a totally valid way to love & experience partnership(s).

But having both monogamy and non monogamy as "options" just kind of screams, "I don't know what I want." 🙃

It's honestly so much fun. I didn't like deep of night much at first, and some of the Everdarks were misses for me, but it's got a lot of staying power when playing with other people, and I'm cautiously hopefully for the future content expansion!

You know, even through my 20s, I kind of thought the "need" for 8 hours of sleep a night was a myth. But now that I'm in my 30's, man... if I don't get at LEAST 8 hours, I am a veritable zombie the following day.

Oh my god... I actually slept this weekend. I got more than 8 hours both Friday and Saturday! And sure I streamed for nearly 12 hours yesterday but damn if that isn't still a huge win in getting myself rested.

One of my friends just got a huge promotion at her job that she has been SO stressed about, and honestly, I am feeling SO much vicarious joy right now, it is not even funny.

I adore my friends so much and I love when they succeed in seeing their dreams come to fruition 🥹

I renamed my family group chat "Family," because I always have trouble finding it when it's just a list of names, and one of my brothers responded by renaming it "Family?!" 💀😭

Sad thing is I can almost guarantee I get a call or text from my mom like, "Does he not think of us as family? :(" 😅

Right? Like sure, jiggle physics and gooning can be fun and silly and all, but like... if your enjoyment of a game is made or broken by its protagonist's sex appeal, your taste in games is *definitionally shallow* - not to mention, deeply concerning with respect to how you value real, human women.
