I love this game!
I hope you don't mind if I try to make one. Thank you for the instructions.
Oh yes! I like that. He needs a bit more flare now. His a bit pac-man!
Too big for a coaster, not big enough for a placemat but he is cute. #quilting #quiltsky #skyquilt
I watched Jenny Doan make a Ribbon Star block last night, so I made one in my lunchtime. #quilting #skyquilt #quiltsky
I find it very relaxing.I listen to a podcast or even nothing at all and zone out.I am not a skillful hand sewer, but I only learned to use a machine a couple of years ago.I got a kit one xmas, which I finally had chance to work on during lockdown.I decided to enjoy the fabric and not fret.
Each coloured piece is 2.5 by 4.5 inches and supposedly because you can't stop at one because they are simple and quick to make. I imagine it has a more traditional name, too.
I think it's upside down. I took a lot of time getting the little birds in the same direction.
I actually finished another project! #quiktsky #skyquilt #quilting
There is actually another quilt under that one. Maximum comfort.
I decided to finish a Potato Chip quilt I started in the spring. Lily has given it the snooze of approval. #quiltsky #quilting

🏛️ Beautiful mosaic floor of the Roman baths at the Sanctuary of Poseidon, Isthmia, Greece. The baths were built ca 150 CE and were used by the athletes who performed in the Isthmian Games. The mosaic depicts Triton and sea creatures. Video filmed a couple of days ago.
And a pieced back to make it double-sided.
Pierce Brosnan is so badly cast, and Ben Kingsley is wasted in this role.
I made the snowflake from a pattern in Patchwork & Quilting magazine. It is no longer published, but I have been searching charity shops for old copies. It really is a great magazine.
I actually started making something. Note the improvised design wall.
I haven't made anything for ages. The only thing I have been doing is sewing the EPP hexagons together (very slowly...).
I think there is still potential for a magic sausage on page 2.The boy then gathers the feather of a kestrel, the smoking shoe of a boy playing with a kite too close to a pylon,a crumb of a Findas crispy pancake, the fumes of a car made by British Leyland and uses the rusty sausage machine to combine.
Hermon's records bag...for lovers of Brutalist architecture AND independent record shops. The bus station was opened 1969, so the bag must date within a few years of 1969 because it still describes it as 'new'.
Poor Lily has been shaved everywhere for her scan at the vets. Apparently, she used some "very bad words" and they had no choice but to sedate her.

The Anglo-Saxon crypt at Ripon Cathedral in North Yorkshire. Dating to 672 AD, the crypt is the only surviving part of St. Wilfrid’s original church. 📸 My own. #SaxonSunday #RiponCathedral
