My sister named all her cats after musicians, including a Ziggy Stardust & Robbie (Plant). Hendrix, Mama Cass and Artie (Shaw) before them. When she died my daughter took on her cats and has kept up the naming tradition with additions Presley, Marley (Bob), Stevie (Nicks) and Ed (Sheeran)
This is how they look now they are completed
A couple of recent gemstone makes, using a range of techniques - soldering, wire wrapping and beading - experimenting with some different designs for pendants and bracelets.

I had a Disney Pluto toy that did that. Had forgotten about it until your post. Thanks for the memory
This statement shows smallest businesses fall completely under the support radar

“Reducing the turnover threshold for one-to-one bespoke support to £400,000 would empower more small firms and start-ups to consider international trade from day one.”
Thank you, but unfortunately this is not helpful to the thousands of micro businesses / small traders who will be losing part of their UK customer (NI) from 13/12/24 as it is not viable for us to have a nominated representative in NI in order to comply with new regulations.
I’m a small eco friendly business in the UK, restoring and repurposing jewellery. I don’t sell to the EU thanks to Brexit, but now, from 13/12/24, and like many other small businesses due to #GPSR, I can no longer sell to Northern Ireland. How crazy is that?

Today’s poem takes the form of a series of “Uninspirational Quotes”.

Happy Friday everyone.
I’ve noticed in this happier place that I’m finding and being followed by poets, writers and book lovers which is great.
I’m a jeweller eco-warrior but love poetry, and a while back tried to describe what I do in verse.

I’d love to know what you think.
Why not try this too?
Hi, I’m the jewellery eco-warrior behind Jewel Destiny Jewellery. I restore, remodel and reimagine neglected jewellery to rescue it from being scrapped, or worse, heading to landfill.
I’m a diploma student increasing my silversmithing & stonesetting skills too

We had Gritney Spears in our area in previous years, although can’t see her in this map.
Sunday, at my workbench, getting distracted by the waves … and the blue sky!
All taken from my garden. I’m very lucky
Certainly. That’s a fantastic addition to anyone’s camera roll 🤣⁉️
There’s something very soothing about living by the sea.
A bit like discovering this place 🦋after being on ✖️.
Long may it last!

Hello! Looking for new bluesky gang who care about the NHS!

Twitter is a truly terrible place and I’m sure many of us were connected on there. Could you like and share this, and I’ll follow you back? Ju🤞💙
Fellow artists & crafters - who’s there that understands this?
Jewellery in the making always looks terrible. These are some way from being finished yet. I will continue as I know they will look amazing soon, but sometimes it’s really hard.
That’s quite a depressing selection. A bit like buying a box of broken/seconds with an exciting variety pictured on the box and finding they are full of Nice, Rich Tea and shortcake rounds.

It’s a C for me. A Jam sandwich biscuit is always good.
Who else scrolls through their photos and finds rather strange or uninteresting ones?

This is mine today. (Apologies for my dirty thumb - I make jewellery!)

What’s your most random or dull photo on your camera roll?
Scottish thistles here in Aberdeenshire
What to post on here for the first time? Well I love a good sunset so here are a few. It never fails to amaze me how they were all taken at the same place but are completely different
