The Christmas adverts are a bit dire this year aren't they, fuckinell. Think the winner for me is a tie between the BFG Sainsburys and the Puss In Boots Boots, but maybe I just love nostalgic IP.

some sad news for a Monday 💔 indie publishing is tough and no one wanted this news.

on a practical note, if you've been thinking about getting a copy of Cacoethes please order sooner rather than later as when she's gone, she's gone: www.northodox.co.uk/product-page...

Going forward, I'm looking for a new home for When The Giants Passed Through.

Despite it all, I'd like to work with another indie press. If that's you, drop me a line 😅 Shy bairns get nowt, as they say.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Much love.

Imagine if I'd written someone's favourite book of the year 🥹🫶

(The book is Cacoethes, a bisexual sugar baby coming-of-age novel. It's all about bad decisions, it's my debut, and it took ten years to bring into the world. Would you like to read it?

Been up since 4.45AM and as I wearily struggle to plug in my phone to charge on this very very long train journey I recall with a chuckle that bit of BBC Sherlock where he deduces a scratched up charging port means the phone's owner is a drunk and at the time we (I) all went 'wow so true probably'

when I was 19, secretly writing the garbled pages that would evolve into Cacoethes (available from @northodoxpress.bsky.social ), at no point did I see myself going on podcasts to talk about David Bowie's death. (He was still alive when I started it, for one thing.)
