Ice T. Not a huge fan of gangsta rap, but Ice T's OG album is on constant rotation in my favorites. I was once driving in England in my convertible when "Straight up N*****" came on. I had to stop at a cross walk and a very proper lady told me "you can't say that anymore". 🤣🤣

Waiting tables for $2.01 an hour plus tips and a doctor's appt was $50. Was not happening for me. First time I went to the doctor's surgery in Glasgow, I tried to pay them. They lady looked at me and said "Hen, we don't do that here". Nicest sentence I'd ever heard.

I shout it from the hilltops. The NHS is the greatest institution in the world and needs to be protected at all costs. I spent most of the 90's with no insurance in the US and I can assure you, it sucks. #NHS

Went to see The Last Temptation of Christ at the arthouse movie theatre in Austin when it came out. Had to drive through a bunch of protesters. We'd dropped a tab before going so we were more freaked out by the protests than the movie. 😁
