Eyepatch
what kind of kinky people live in this town
so to sum up my current thoughts on the state of the world:
You know, I just wish all these wannabe aristocrat politicians would be forced to rely on public transport/being forced to drive through the heavy traffic jams like regular folks to know what it's like
This is what the French guillotine'd the aristocracy for
Three hopes really had momentum with their plot lines. Claude's brother appearing could have created an interesting inner conflict for Claude where he feels that he has to decide: Is he Claude von Riegen from Fódlan or is he Prince Khalid from Almyra? Then they just kill Shahid off & the plot tanks
Today's wisdom:

"Oh, when people with darker skintones decide to become vampires - no, we do not do that against people's wills, we have a society with laws too - their skin doesn't lighten like it happens for the folks with pale skin. Usually birthmarks and freckles tend to become more pronounced, but that's it."
Now, all law students knew perfectly well that Dr. Han was a Vampire who had lived for roughly 120 years now, so all he could do when a particular sort of student asked him if he had read some case file from 90 years ago was to sigh, point at his name as the presiding judge and affirm his knowledge
Do you annotate your books? Me, I have no problems highlighting and and taking notes on digital texts but when it comes to physical copies I do feel a little guilty about doing that tbh. Sometimes I will use pencil and just very lightly annotate but I can't bring myself to use highlighters
Most obviously the wars Germany and France have had during the last few centuries are due to both being massive bread snobs and no one will even give one millimeter of admittance that the other might be better. One of the most German things is to complain abroad that the bread is not up to par
It annoys me when Western media undermines the agency of Muslim women, portraying them as helpless damsels needing the western white saviours. Our sisters have led revolutions, are studying at universities, are creating businesses and in case of Afghan women are fighting tooth and nail to be heard
Hello, Ensign!
(*whispers* who's he?)
That's why I am so skeptical of the concept!
To a Mage the benefits of a familiar included companionship and love, whereas the feline, for it was typically a cat they bonded with, there was of course servitude, a comfortable home and the magically enduced lack of fleas, ticks and parasites, which was nearly as good as sleeping by the hearth
Homeschooling is one of those iffy subjects for me. I understand the notion of the public education system being flawed, I agree and I suppose that as long as the parents ensure that their child is getting qualified education, I don't have anything against it. I just feel it gets abused too much.
Garett Fairborne was the son of an elven man and an 8 foot Giantess who lived with her reclusive tribe in the mountains. Himself 7 feet tall Garrett shared his vivid red hair and beard with his father though his eyes were grey and melancholic like those of his maternal relatives.
"Ah, Mag. Say, what's Mag short for? Margaret?"
The dwarf woman mischievously twirled her curled moustache. "My name is Magnanimity Charity Nicholson. My parents were really into virtue names."
