"Personal Control" is a huge thing. I've been negatively effected & soured on wireless remote control that I cannot choose to isolate, block, or adjust at will.

So I get this. A survey for thought.

(Too much to do here, so have fun with it.)

When I moved to snow country the car places wanted me to get rid of my aluminum tire caps because they could cause rust.

Right.

All the ones for sale at Zon and other places now seem to be aluminum, corrosion resistant. Huh? (Guy working on car forgot to put all caps on new tires. Bleh.)

I see people saying

“I would use alt text but I keep forgetting!”

Thankfully, @bsky.app has a setting for that.

- Go to Settings
- Then Accessibility
- Toggle “Require alt text before posting” to the active setting.

Now Bluesky will remind you to add alt text to all of your posts.

Sigh.

Car swept & scraped, IceScreen attached for what's coming. The screen is seven years old and has served well, since I don't have a garage. So, new one needed.

Snow poles up (I need a couple more,) car driven to the mail wall, one acorn planted. Plow guy knows I'm "In" this year.

Rest. . .

Most of the time Patreon/podcast sub benefits are eh, okay and mostly just for the joy of supporting the show. But this subscription is WELL worth the money. The member-only stories are very good and long and the physical rewards are very generous. Highly recommend!
