You can really tell the Trump trial journos are gluttons for punishment because even though we’ve been offered a room with cushioned seats and the ability to make phone calls/talk to each other, the majority of us are quietly sitting in the courtroom in hardwood pews

As the two court reporters read Pecker’s testimony, I couldn’t help but wonder, should journos reconsider editing out filler words in quotes?

Little known fact about the NYC Courts system is all court reporters must have thick city accents

We’re done with the rereading of jury instructions.

Judge Juan Merchan to jurors: “I believe that concludes my response to the first question. Was that responsive to you? Okay.”
May 30, 2024 at 2:28 PM
Jurors are not given the physical testimony to review, so they have to request testimony be read back to them. That’s why Merchan is currently rereading his instructions and we stayed OT last night to listen to Todd Blanche/Joshua Steinglass discuss which excerpts to include

Hello from 100 Centre St, day two of jury deliberations on the Donald Trump hush money case. Jurors gave another note, asking for headphones for use of the evidence laptop, and they were offered speakers as well

Merchan just informed us jurors have made childcare arrangements until 8PM

Sure Cohen made and received a lot of calls in the half hour before wiring money for Stormy’s story, but you’ve never seen my Catholic mother spread news of a church lady’s daughter giving birth just eight months after her wedding

Todd Blache is pretty well prepared in his closing arguments so far, save for how he called the difference between 1988 and 2015 as only 17 years
