Omg that’s absolutely amazing! I can see it’s from the photo but you’ve made the yellow tree the focus and everything else is like the supporting act. The clouds the direction. The sunny light atmosphere just captures the moment. Love it. Roll on Friday! Thanks so much 😊

Can’t wait for that as mine looks like some kind of Narnia! I had a first go at the Norfolk one and loved it. Going to have another go now got gist. Simplify is something I need to tattoo on my head. The lesson is brilliant. Thank you ☺️

@chrisstephenart.bsky.social had a go at the heathland on the common. Everything you taught us in lessons flew out my head! Tried to get the golden tree in!! So much I would do differently but this is about the fifth go so giving up!!

That would be awesome! I love the light shining on the autumn trees and the dark around them and the soft sky. I’ve had a few goes and overdid the sky which took away from the autumn gold and wasn’t sure how to simplify the foreground as it’s all about the silver birches lit up in the sun 🤦🏻‍♀️

Another fantastic painting 🤩 the light and dark and lovely lead into the windmill with those sparkly white touches. Trying to paint an autumn tree scene from my local heathland and it’s a lot harder without one of your demos to follow!!
