Visiting the Anne of Green Gables Museum in part three of my blog series, “Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Prince Edward Island”. Let’s visit Anne’s Lake of Shining Waters, open Rachel Ward’s blue chest in The Story Girl, and fall in love with Silver Bush alongside Pat.

Visiting Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Birthplace in part two of my new blog series, “Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Prince Edward Island”. There are enough photos here you could make a flip book out of them, and feel like you’ve been there yourself!

Perfect! Will do.

Oh, I think I can speak on behalf of the group and say we would all love that! So kind of you to offer your time. I will be in touch.

Thank YOU, Johnny! My friend Sabine and I are so excited to share our love of the Gilded Nightmares collection. I’m a big fan of the titles you have worked on. The Dead of Summer is perfectly unsettling.

Thank you for spreading the word about our readalong! Sabine and I are huge fans of the Gilded Nightmares collection. Just the words “gilded nightmares” gives me a thrill. 👻🎃

Another satisfying British Library Crime Classic. I just loved the summery Yorkshire setting in W.F. Harvey’s 1934 bibliomystery, The Mysterious Mr. Badman, and the mystery wasn’t half bad either. 😉

I did! Thanks for your help. We discussed that as an option in our house when we first saw the app was no longer going to be available. I loved being able to search the archive for a favourite author, for instance, and finding all of the programs related to them.

Thank you for that. Do you happen to know if there is a way to listen on demand? That was my favourite thing about the BBC Sounds app.

So excited that Persephone Books’ fabulous Crooked Cross by Sally Carson is the current BBC Radio 4 Book at Bedtime. Less excited that the BBC Sounds app is no longer available in Canada. Why?!

I loved this collection! I’m always a fan of an academic setting.

I loved this one too! And I also read it slowly. I think it is a book that lends itself to slow reading.

Here because I need another place to talk about books online. Despite claiming to not like social media. What can I say? I’m a complex person. 😂
