Dude, its not 'a couple other' its every other. And heretical individuals have often misled people... Look at Trump. He's a centerpoint in misleading a lot of Americans regardless of their religious leaning.

None of them represented Jesus accurately, most having very conservative or very heretical teaching (Osteen in particular)

Jesus indicated many would come in his name but not be recognized as his followers.

Many deists and agnostic clearly profited from slavery. To lay it on 'Christians' is to ignore the long tradition going back to Mesopotamia and across all societies.
There is no support for Christians to engage in enslavement except themselves to God as master.

Compared to non-Christian societies over the same period the facts declare Christianity has been far less destructive. Deaths under Ghengis Khan, numerous Chinese emperors, Indian subcontinent rulers, Ottoman empire, Sultans of Islam exceed all 'Christian' associated loss of life. Facts

No 10% does not work. Consider today those who make $400k+ a year establish long term wealth immediately. $40k is a pittance and no they aren't investing $250k into the overall economy like those making $200k and less.

The flat tax doesnt account for the actual benefit the wealthy receive

Note the people from 200k-640k jump more per percentage 8% of actual income 32-35% (24% is next lower bracket) than those in the highest bracket 37% only 2% increase above 640k. Need an executive bracket >800k that is 40% and 32% from 200-640k. Taxes should be 10% from 30-50k. 20% & 24% middle

True, sufficiency is a dirty word in capitalism. Turning off commercialism and finding sufficiency was much easier when I was growing up. My grandparents lived thru the depression and knew the balance between necessary and extravagant spending

Dunno, unlike the civil rights marches, there is no good will in the Republican ranks today to respond in the necessary way. This isn't merely a rogue individual, its an entire party refusing at every level to act for all citizens.
I can only say people today aren't like their 1930s counterparts

I was doing weekly current events in the late 70s for middle school. I couldn't fathom then how we could arrive at this mess. No one would believe this police state condition could exist in America.
