So do I. I live in Spain. Our electricity mix is >50% renewables. We decoupled electricity prices from gas-fired power plant prices. I now pay €0,12/kWh before taxes, every hour of the day. Renewables don´t drive up electricity prices, politicians and incumbents do.
You know that is a lie, right? Renewables in almost all cases have a lower LCOE than fossils. And that is without calculating the externalised costs of fossils. Try googling it.

What many people either don't know or don't care to mention, is that many new coal fired power plants replace existing, far less efficient plans. Sure, replacing coal with WSW is way better, but not every new coal plant adds new coal to the mix.
