WARNING: ANYONE TRYING TO SOLICIT MONEY OUT OF ME WILL BE IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED!

I'm on a fixed income right now, and don't have the mental energy to research every demand for money, so you all get blocked immediately.

ESPECIALLY if you've tagged me!

Fuck off.
Dang! How to arrange the panels on the sheet of plywood has *finally* hit me, and I should be able to punch some numbers into either a CAD program or at least a spreadsheet. After all, I still don't have any actual dimensions yet, and the aspect ratios of the boxes still haven't been decided upon...
Here's hoping the AI bubble pops sooner rather than later...

The culprit and its replacement.

I'm not convinced the replacements are the best option, as I've accidentally opened the base part too wide and cracked it. Definitely more delicate than I'd expected.

Then again, I didn't expect the original piece to break, either...

Odd. I do have a trio of buttons I'd specifically set aside for rank pips, but it appears I have NO photos of them at all. Guess I need to compare them against at least two of these other buttons to see how they look together.

I am a little worried I won't have enough of the left set for pips...
Okay, maybe it's a little more muddy. The middle set is right out, and the left set looks pretty good as well. Anybody have any thoughts?

And yes, that is a prototype for the button bands. Works pretty good! But needs to be a little bit wider...

Man, NOTHING brings you up short faster than the tab on the zipper pull on your jacket breaking off when you pull it all the way up on your way down the street.

I'm very glad I still have some replacements, despite not being the best quality. I was able to dash home, replace it, and head out again.
How the *heck* can you have a three-pin EEPROM?!

Okay, that's a particularly hilarious end to that individual moment of terror! =^.^=
And yes, I was at the library for five hours last night. We had someone due yesterday to service the furnace, so we'd turned the furnace off. And since I'd packed my cardigan already, I headed to the library early.

Though I still need to check how hot this is getting...

Project status: Looks like I've been using the *wrong* USB power monitoring device. The other one has a higher-value current-sensing resistor, which restricts the amount of power the LED panel could get.
Now, it's drawing an entire Amp of power, and is just that bit brighter!

It's definitely an unusual "hereditary health condition". And an intriguing solution to it.

On the other hand, I'm not convinced that very much of Tedd's computer was damaged. From what I know about computers and the pictures, it mostly looks like the display got destroyed. Maybe it can be fixed?
See "horseless carriages" and "lights" from early in the "Hope" storyline.
As much as I agree within general, I'm pretty sure it wasn't an "important enough" situation. Pandora had been storing memories slowly, thinking she had more time, until she suddenly had a great (for her) reason to do something abruptly that would force her to be reset.

Thus, incomplete memories.
Yes, I'm keeping a close eye on everything right now. Stitch counts in each quadrant, the height of the cardigan's back, and anything else that catches my eye right now.

I'm even keeping track of where to heighten the back on my stitch counts page, as it's listing which row I'm on.

And in order to make sure the back of the collar sits a little higher than the front, I've started expanding the height of the back. The idea is that each "zone" between the various stitch markers will get heightened to tapering degrees. I'll be keeping a close eye on how that turns out...

I once attended a performance of The Pirates of Penzance where the choreographer deliberately left the stomping out of that song. Absolute travesty...

Dang that's a fun outfit! =^.^=
Also, while you're there, uncheck "Google Vids" too.

Not sure what it's used for, but it's supposedly another AI thing that nobody needs.
friend shared this, immediately updated my settings
Not sure how long this is going to be in the end, though. It feels like I'm already past the first third of the yarn cake, which means this won't be all that long.

Buying more yarn may not be an option, I'll have to keep an eye on everything. Not sure I saw more of this yarn at the store...

I was a bit surprised to see that it's taking up just a bit more than the entire length of the afghan hook, too. It still works quite nicely, but that was a little surprising.

Also, it's not all that easy on my hook-holding hand, as it's rubbing against the edge of my palm in an odd way.

Had to undo it and start it over again with the next hook size down. Otherwise, when you stretched it around your neck, it would have opened LOADS of holes all the way through.

It doesn't feel as soft, but it still feels really good!

Sounds like temptation will suddenly slam from a mere 2, all the way up to 12, very, very shortly!
A pair of colours that go together VERY well. Craft cord from the dollar store, that I'll (eventually) be making into a basket of some sort.

Christmas colours, no less!

I was a bit surprised at how much I liked this tan with the darker red. A slightly unusual pairing, but it works!

As soon as it rolls over to November 1st, I will ABSOLUTELY be switching over to my Christmas playlist. And I have NO REGRETS about that! =^.^=
