The original pictures. I selected a face for Xie Lian that makea him extra mommy and gentle, and smiling of course… bc i want my prince to be happy!! And Hua Cheng with foxy grinning eyes. Tho after customization he will sport his trademark(?) hungry stare towards his husband.

The other day i made a Hualian mockup of bjd dolls. I took company pictures with looks of the faceculpts i liked and painted over them to see how would it look if i customize them 💖💖 (xie liqn should be even shorter, bc for me Hua Cheng is 2 meter tall!!!
But to fit them better in the picture…

xie lian shouldn't giggle when hua cheng is scolding someone but he cant help it, his husband is fluffed up like an angry kitten and xl is fighting the urge to pet him

two sketches:
on the left, xl is kissing hc's neck, his hand on his shoulder as he's probably tiptoeing bcs he's short (well, compared to the ghost anyway xdd) :3 hua cheng has a lil heart in his eye and is looking plenty shocked, there's even some blush on his cheeks.
on the right, hc turns to the side and leans in to kiss xl's temple, his hand cradling the god's head gently. xl is blushing and smiling, and he's happy to receive the deserved payback.

there's only black linework, subtle shading, and a slight brush of red where hc's robes are. in the middle, there are two butterflies and tiny hearts.

THAT’S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. I know everyone have their preferences. But I just die a little xD when i see Hua Chengs (ghost form) with so much “healthy alive” skin tones. I’m all for the skin color difference with flushed healthy God Xie Lian 😭💖 i love yours! I do similar as well
